Listen, there needs to be more conversation about having to rely on your ugliest but most practical footwear on vacation. This is a real problem that requires the very brightest minds!

GET NASA ON THE PHONE!! Like did I WANT to wear my nice boots while hanging out in the coolest city I’ll ever be in? SURE. But I also wanted to not be crippled waking up the next day so it was …. not a viable option! So I leaned all the way into the GORP of it all instead lol

Something about the navy coat and burgundy scarf that I can’t stop oogling over! Vibes based dressers for life. Looks like an amazing trip & I love the “what I really wore most of the time” peep- my kinda lewk! Xx

Ahaha yes a peek behind the curtain, and I am indeed wearing a big sweater and those same sweats this morning while getting ready 😂

Recently I packed too warmly on vacation and ended up having to wash my t shirts non stop to have something to wear, while the two knits and jacket I packed just sat there. Still had fun anyway. We live and learn!

And I also need to pack a set of I house/lounge clothes on vacation. Inside clothes are not outside clothes!

Ok this legitimately makes me feel less silly about it hahaha! Why is it so hard to just pack the right amount? I have nailed it I think exactly once in my life lol

Travel wardrobes start with the shoes! I appreciate that you took a set of house clothes! I also don’t wear my good clothes around the house.

Damp cold seriously fucks with you! I live on Canada’s west coast and you are never warm enough, from November to June.

You’d think I’d be used to it after a literal lifetime of winter trips to Dublin but NO!! I was not ready hahaha. Also yes, house clothes forever lol

It truly helped me out and I know I will go back to it again and again. I work in the nonprofit sector and I just know don’t do better work when I am hopeless.
